Matt is currently the designer and webmaster for the Tallgrass Film Festival in Wichita. Founded in 2003 by the late Timothy Gruver, the Tallgrass Film Festival is a program of the Wichita Association for the Motion Picture Arts (WAMPA), a non-profit 501©3 arts organization dedicated to entertaining and enlightening audiences from America’s heartland by showcasing the very best in independent cinema, including foreign, documentary, experimental, retrospective and premiering films.
Matt is currently planning his third annual Halloween Art Show, CathARTic 3: REEL SCARY, for late October. This year, the artwork takes a decidedly cinematic bent, and will be presented with a one night only Short Film Exhibition in the classic 20th Century Center in Wichita. Everlasting, the band that Matt sings with is on hiatus, however, he's still musically active! He's the director of the Archangels Praise Team at St. Michael Catholic Church in Mulvane, KS.
The FEMUR IS RETURNING! Matt ran a e-mail newsletter for the greather Wichita theatre community, called The Fractured Femur. which garnered him a well deserved Mary Jane Teall Award for excellence in communication. Well the Femur is coming back this year, and will be better than ever. Watch for it soon!
